Multiple behind-the-scenes changes take place in TNA Wrestling on February 12th 2025
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, multiple behind-the-scenes changes took place within TNA Wrestling today which included departures.
Johnson noted that Anthony Cicione has stepped down as President of TNA Wrestling. Cicione assumed the role in February 2024, concurrently serving as President of Anthem’s Entertainment Group. There’s no information yet on who will succeed Cicione but a new executive has been appointed to manage production and other key areas of the company.
In addition to that, Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme have reportedly left TNA. Hemme was responsible for social media while Mathews held positions as Senior Producer and Senior Director of Digital Media.

The new TNA Wrestling President is Carlos Silva.
George Veras is the new Executive Producer of the Anthem Sports Group. George is the 10-time Emmy Award-winning president and Chief Executive Officer of Pro Football Hall of Fame Enterprises, as well as president of Veras Communications, Incorporated.
Josh Mathews and Christy Hemme are no longer with the Company. We appreciate their commitment to TNA throughout the years, and wish them well in their future endeavors.
