MJF mentions Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels during the 6/7/23 edition of AEW Dynamite

During the June 7th 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite, there was a verbal confrontation between AEW world champion MJF and Adam Cole. MJF brought up how Cole was “hand-picked” by Shawn Michaels in NXT but then Cole left WWE because Vince McMahon didn’t see “top guy potential” in him. MJF also referred to Cole as “Keith Lee’s manager” which was a reference to a claim that WWE wanted Cole in that role on the main roster.

The confrontation set up MJF vs. Cole match for next week’s Dynamite.
