Match that was scrapped from WWE Wrestlemania 39 could still happen at Summerslam
As previously noted, there was talk of John Cena having a match against Logan Paul at WWE Wrestlemania 39 but the company decided to book Cena vs. Austin Theory instead.
In an update, Twitter account @WrestleVotes told GiveMeSport.com that Cena vs. Logan is very much “on the table” for the 2023 WWE Summerslam PLE at Ford Field in Detroit, MI. WrestleVotes noted the following…
“Logan loved the idea and Cena was totally down it. They’d have made mega money and it’s just a matter of when. They want to tell a good story because they’re megastars, so there’s got to be a reason. The matches is very much on the table, even at a Summerslam. All parties involved want to do it.”
