Lex Luger explains why he didn’t appear at WWE WrestleMania 41 with the other Hall of Fame members

Former WCW world champion Lex Luger was inducted into the 2025 WWE Hall of Fame as part of WrestleMania 41 weekend. Luger, with help from his inductor Diamond Dallas Page, stood up out of his wheelchair to deliver his speech.

While speaking to Ariel Helwani, Luger commented on why he didn’t make an appearance at WrestleMania Saturday with the other HOF members…

“The next day, on Saturday, I could hardly get out of bed. So I just called the guys and they were so cool about it and said, ‘Look, we’d love to have you down there. Let’s see how you feel later today.’ But it was obvious by late afternoon that time that I wasn’t going to be able to get out there… Saturday would have been great, but it was a no-go.
