John Cena’s match for WWE Superstar Spectacle show in India officially announced
As previously noted, John Cena will be returning to WWE television for the September 1st 2023 edition of Smackdown which is one day prior to the 2023 Payback PLE. Cena is also scheduled to appear at the WWE Superstar Spectacle show in India on Friday, September 8th.
It was announced that Cena will be teaming up with world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins to face Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci of Imperium at the event in India. In addition to that, WWE tag team champions Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens will defend their titles against Indus Sher.
At this time, the event is not expected to be televised and won’t be streamed live on the WWE Network or Peacock.
