John Cena vs. CM Punk set for WWE Night of Champions in Saudi Arabia

As seen during the June 9th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, there was a verbal confrontation between John Cena and CM Punk. After Punk challenged Cena to a WWE title match, Cena stated the following…

“You’re going to follow me to Saudi Arabia. And we’re going to do it at Night of Champions. Balls in your court, hero. You want a title match, it’s going to be at Night of Champions. What do you say?”

Punk agreed and then Money in the Bank winner Seth Rollins appeared on the stage with his briefcase.

Night of Champions takes place on June 28th 2025 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Punk was publicly critical of The Miz in the past including when he wrote “go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia you f*cking dork” on Twitter/X in early 2020. Punk would end up deleting his tweet.
