John Cena makes surprise appearance at the 2023 WWE Money in the Bank PLE

John Cena made a surprise appearance at the 2023 WWE Money in the Bank PLE in London, England. Cena cut a promo and wondered why it took WWE so long to hold a PLE in London. Cena said that management thinks the London crowd can sometimes be a hostile environment. Cena believes that they are the voice and heartbeat of the show – they ARE the show.

Cena said he is at MITB on behalf of the fans and calls them unappreciated. The crowd started a “thank you Cena” chant. Cena said that there isn’t a more exciting audience than in the United Kingdom. Cena says he wants to bring Wrestlemania to London and the arena exploded in cheers.

Grayson Waller interrupted Cena’s promo. Waller said he respects Cena and the crowd started a “shut the f*ck up” chant. Waller laughed at the idea of Wrestlemania being in London and said it should be in Australia and the crowd chanted “wanker” at Waller. The crowd chanted “f*ck him up Cena” and Waller said Cena needed a viral moment to save his career. Cena declined Waller’s offer and Waller attacked Cena. Waller posed which gave Cena time to recover and he took down Waller with an AA.
