Jey Uso issues response to Rikishi criticizing his creative direction in WWE

Last month, WWE Hall of Famer Rikishi criticized a romance being teased between his son Jey Uso and Rhea Ripley on WWE television. Rikishi also said the following…

“They’re not doing a damn thing with Yeet. My opinion’s why? Why do you not push or give the most popular babyface, in my eyes, be it my son or not, if the Yeet Master or the Yeet man is over, why? How come? What is the problem, not giving this guy some type of title, something, win something? It’d only be good for business, wouldn’t it?”

While being interviewed by TheRinger.com, Jey issued a response to his father’s criticism…

“He just said what he said about my creative. I’m like, ‘Dad. Just watch the show. Let me work. Let me go out and work, enjoy the show. Make your rap track.’ That’s pops, though. Shoutout to my dad.” (quotes courtesy of Jeremy Lambert)
