Jey Uso issues public statement following his world title loss to Gunther on WWE RAW
As seen during the June 9th 2025 edition of WWE RAW, Jey Uso lost the world heavyweight title against Gunther in a rematch from WrestleMania 41. After RAW went off the air, Jey issued a statement in regards to his loss…
“Ladies and gentlemen, this is my youngest son. I’m so happy. I bought him on a roll with me this weekend. You all seen him a couple of times on videos with me. Even though I lost, I’m so glad he was here with me. I really want to say I’m sorry to my son. I’m sorry to everybody here. I fought my ass off. Gunther is that dude, one of the best athletes, one of the best pros I ever stepped foot in the ring with at the end of the night. I got a hell of respect for that man. I’m going to give it up for Gunther. But I’m going to run it back. I’m going to run it back.
Hey, Phoenix, y’all are lit. Hey, When I come out and do my entrance, I can feel the bomb in every other city. Hey, tonight, though, tonight, you all was turned up. I wish everyone could experience what we get to experience back there, like walking through these curtains. I’m very, very blessed, man. I stay humble in front of you all. I love what I do. I don’t ever take this for granted, all right? I love all of you. Parents, appreciate you all’s hard work spending money to bring you all’s loved ones to a show. Kids, real talk. Tell your parents you love them, right? Listen to them. Something simple as picking up after yourself means a lot, all right? You feel me? You all heard me say this a couple of times because I got kids. You know what I’m saying? Pick up after yourself. Say your prayers. Watch your lads when it’s bedtime. Don’t get no attitude. Brush your teeth. You know what I’m saying? Real talk. Love you all. One time for the one time. Four letters.”
