Jerry Lawler to “Superstar” Bill Dundee: “Do you have one more match left in you?”

Wrestling legends Jerry “The King” Lawler and “Superstar” Bill Dundee are set to reunite with Memphis Wrestling in Tupelo, Mississippi, for an event benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In a video posted by Memphis Wrestling, Lawler teased fans by asking Dundee: “Hey, I got one question. Superstar, do you have one more match left in you?”

During a 2025 interview, Lawler stated “I have not put it out of my mind — one more match in there somewhere.” Lawler also noted the following about his health…

“I like to say something I saw on the news recently — people say 6 or 7. [So when you say 6 or 7, you mean on the scale of one to 10, how you doing — about 6 or 7?] Yes, exactly. I’ll get up to 7, then go back to 6.”

Lawler was previously hospitalized after having a “serious medical episode” in February of 2023 which was later revealed to have been a stroke. Lawler then suffered a “minor” stroke in 2025.
