Jeff Hardy pleads “not guilty” to DUI charges from June 13th 2022 arrest

As previously noted, Jeff Hardy was arrested on June 13th 2022 and faces several DUI-related charges. Marc Raimondi of ESPN.com later reported details about Hardy’s arrest from the police report.

In an update on the legal case, court records indicate that Jeff Hardy filed a written plea of “not guilty” on June 28th. The primary charge is a felony under Florida law and is punishable up to five years’ imprisonment if Hardy is convicted. The other charges are considered to be misdemeanors. “Defendant, Jeffrey Nero Hardy, pursuant to rules 3.160(a), Florida Rules of Criminal Procedure, waives arraignment by filing this written plea of not guilty. Albritton v. White, 948 So. 2d 852, 854 (Fla. 2d DCA 2007). Defendant further waives the right to be present at all pretrial conferences.”

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, Hardy was said to have entered a rehab facility on June 21st. Tony Khan recently commented on how Hardy, who is currently suspended from AEW until he successfully completes treatment, is believed to be doing “much better.”
