Jake Hager pulled from upcoming wrestling event in the aftermath of his now-deleted social media posts
During Election Day 2024 in the United States, Jake Hager (formerly Jack Swagger in WWE) wrote messages in support of Donald Trump and he also accused AEW President Tony Khan of being a “communist” but then deleted his posts about Khan. Hager was scheduled for an upcoming Blitzkrieg Pro event but in the aftermath of his social media comments, the promotion announced the following on Wednesday…
“Jake Hagar will no longer be appearing on December 14th in Enfield, CT. On top of sponsors no longer being willing to work with him, we also just have to do what we think is right for our roster and fans. We’re going to get to work on a replacement asap.”
“Tickets aren’t on sale for the event he was scheduled for. Everybody can do with their hard earned money as they please.”
