Injury update on Shinsuke Nakamura heading into the 2022 Royal Rumble PLE

It was recently noted by Rick Boogs that WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura suffered a hand injury that kept him out of action for the past couple of months.

Nakamura published an Instagram story and stated that he has been cleared to “fight” again. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com wrote that Nakamura is in Kansas City for tonight’s Smackdown and is free to be part of the 2022 men’s Royal Rumble match. Nakamura won the men’s Rumble back in 2018.
