Injured WWE star returns to action before WWE RAW (possible spoiler)

Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted that prior to the July 5th 2021 edition of WWE RAW, NXT star Toni Storm had a dark match against the returning Tegan Nox. In a possible spoiler, Johnson added that “the charging battery vignette on WWE NXT has been expected to be Nox.” Nox has been out of action since the summer of 2020 due to a torn ACL injury.

Johnson also reported that WWE NXT champion Karrion Kross had a match against Drew Gulak which was taped for Main Event.
