How much money Kazuchika Okada is reportedly making from his AEW contract

As seen during the March 6th 2024 edition of AEW Dynamite, Kazuchika Okada turned heel and joined The Elite with Matthew and Nicholas Jackson. This was Okada’s first appearance as an official member of the AEW roster.

According to a report by Tokyo Sports, it’s believed that Okada signed a three-year deal with AEW for two billion yen which converts to around $13.5 million United States dollars. This means that Okada will be making around $4.5 million U.S. dollars a year.

In a video posted to AEW’s Twitter/X account, Matthew noted that they hooked up Okada with their agent Barry Bloom. Bloom has represented numerous wrestlers over the years including Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, Bill Goldberg, and Chris Jericho.

Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com wrote via Twitter/X that “sources we’ve spoken to in AEW and Japan say that they’ve heard the 3-year, $4M+ numbers for Kazuchika Okada are accurate.” It was also noted that Okada is expected to be moving to the United States with a full-time AEW schedule.
