Former WWE star Nic Nemeth aka Dolph Ziggler made his debut with NJPW at the Wrestle Kingdom 18 PPV event. Nic and his brother Ryan came down to the ringside to watch the matches.

After David Finlay defeated Will Ospreay and Jon Moxley to become the first IWGP Global Champion, there was a physical confrontation between him and Nic. Security ended up needing to separate the two of them.
This was Nic’s first appearance at a wrestling event since he was released from WWE in September of 2023.
