Former WWE and AEW wrestler Jake Hager injured in his latest Power Slam fight

Former WWE and AEW wrestler Jake Hager suffered a loss in his latest Power Slap fight against Johnny Magna in Lubbock, Texas, on Thursday night. Magna, an independent professional wrestler who has worked for NWA New Mexico, knocked Hager out in the second round. The slap left Hager bleeding around his face and eye.

Hager claimed that he had been struck in the eye and that the slap should have been ruled a foul. However, the official result was Magna winning by referee stoppage (TKO). Due to the severity of the slap, a replay was not shown during the Power Slap broadcast.

Hager signed a six-appearance deal with Power Slap. He won his debut in April but was knocked out in the third round by Amanpreet Singh in July.
