Former TNA Knockouts champion Deonna Purrazzo debuts with AEW
During the January 3rd 2023 edition of AEW Dynamite, Mariah May was victorious in her first match. Afterwards, Mariah was interviewed by Renee Paquette but the segment was interrupted by former former TNA Knockouts champion Deonna Purrazzo.

Deonna said she had a message for Mariah to deliver and it was that she is coming for AEW women’s champion Toni Storm. Mariah responded with “tell her yourself, bitch” and then slapped Deonna. Deonna fought back and set Mariah out of the ring.
