Former Impact Wrestling star returns and a new world champion crowned at Rebellion PPV

At Sunday night’s Impact Wrestling PPV event, Steve Maclin (formerly Steve Cutler of The Forgotton Sons in WWE) defeated Kushida to win the vacant Impact world title. Former Impact world champion Nick Aldis (previously known as Magnus) made his return to the company and provided commentary for the match.

After the match, Maclin attacked Impact president Scott D’Amore. Aldis got into the ring and had a confrontation with Maclin.
