El Grande Americano defeated Dominik Mysterio to win the AAA Mega Championship at Triplemania 34. The match featured interference from Omos, Dorian Roladan, JD McDonagh, and Liv Morgan. After Morgan handed Dominik the title, he struck Americano with it, but Americano recovered and hit another running headbutt.

The referee was knocked out earlier in the match, so Rey Mysterio, wearing a neck brace, came to the ring and made the three-count. Americano was declared the new AAA Mega Champion. The show ended with Americano and Rey celebrating in the ring as a mariachi band performed Cielito Lindo and pyro went off.
