Edict from the Vince McMahon regime of WWE has reportedly been reversed

As previously noted, Angel Garza teased that he will be using his full name again on WWE television.

During the August 29th edition of WWE RAW, Theory was referred to as Austin Theory and Riddle was referred to as Matt Riddle. Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com confirmed that both men will be using their full names again moving forward. Johnson added that “the shortened names were an edict under the Vince McMahon regime that has now been reversed.”

As of Tuesday afternoon, the name changes have yet to be reflected on WWE’s official website but WWE’s official Twitter account used the name Matt Riddle during RAW.
