Dustin Rhodes encourages social media users to “block every basement dwelling mf out there” that writes hateful messages

As seen during the February 5th 2025 edition of AEW Dynamite, MJF took a shot at Dustin Rhodes by saying Dustin was in the shadow of his “baby brother” [Cody Rhodes] and the two ended up brawling. The next day, Dustin posted the following message via Twitter/X…

“Not everybody is going to like you in this life! Who cares?!? Start doing for yourself and become a little selfish! You matter! Be a stand alone bright light of taking care of yourself!!!

Here on X, you may have a thousand people that love you and a handful that hate you. You see the hate because they are the loudest in the room, trust me, I know. Focus on the love and block every basement dwelling mf out there and move on. Just focus on today! #KeepSteppin”

One fan commented on Dustin’s post with the following message…

“I like you Dustin but what I don’t like is that you & Jericho parade ROH titles around & take up time that could be given to talent like enhancing the women’s division. I’d love to see you more on ROH getting that brand over than having a 10-minute promo and a match with MJF it’s a personal choice. Both you and Sammy were great in Japan & was hoping you both now start to bring something to ROH which needs a major shake-up and cosmetic redesign & if you wanted to be AEW then get rid of ROH belts.”

Dustin replied to the fan…

“Nobody gives shit about your opinion. What I said above was specifically directed at your kind. I am one of the best to do it, and I have earned every damn thing I got. Stop shitting on people that may be a little older in the biz, because once we’re gone, you’re gonna want us back. And i could give 2 shit if you like it or not.”
