Dominik Mysterio regains the North American title during the 10/3/23 edition of WWE NXT

In the main event of WWE NXT on October 3rd 2023, Trick Williams defended his newly-won North American title against Dominik Mysterio in a rematch from their encounter at the No Mercy PLE.

Judgment Day interfered during the match but Williams was able to hold his own. However, JD McDonagh showed up and that allowed Finn Balor to hit Trick with the belt. Dominik then pinned Trick with a frogsplash to regain the title.
