Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara have been feuding on AEW television but there was reportedly an incident between King and Guevara that wasn’t part of a storyline. According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, an altercation took place on August 10th 2022 in Minneapolis (Quake by the Lake Dynamite/Rampage event) when Kingston confronted Guevara and there was a verbal dispute. It’s believed that Guevara made a comment about Kingston’s physique and the two had to be separated.
Kingston was said to have been quietly suspended. After missing two weeks of television tapings, Kingston is expected to return next week. Kingston issued a comment to PWInsider.com regarding the incident…
“You know the truth. I wouldn’t lie. I was wrong for being unprofessional. That is the blind fact. He did what he did and the public can judge that but I know for a fact I was wrong.”
Guevara ended up competing in a match taped for this week’s Rampage. Click here for spoilers.
