CZW responds to Bully Ray’s claim that Eddie Guerrero ten-bell salute incident was a work
Shortly after the 2005 death of Eddie Guerrero, Combat Zone Wrestling held a ten-bell salute that was interrupted by a ringside heckler. A young Eddie Kingston confronted the fan at the barricade.

WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray commented on a Twitter/X video of the incident with the following remarks…
“ps…this was a work…as they tried to use Eddies passing to replicate the very real evening w/ the Dudleys / Heyman and a disrespectful fan at the Elks Lodge, during a 10 Bell Salute after Rick Rudes passing.”
This is a reminder to never interrupt a 10 bell salute.

The official CZW account issued a response to Bully Ray…
“We didn’t use Eddie’s passing as a ‘work’ to get ‘heat.’ Why would we do a worked angle of ten bell for one of the best ever to recreate a Dudley boys moment no one remembers cause you were starting fake riots and beating up fans Stop. Not everything revolves around you Mark.”
