Content creators being targeted with takedown notices due to their WWE reaction videos

Copyright strikes and takedown notices have been issued to multiple streamers and content creators over WWE clips and reaction videos. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful.com, the recent takedown of streamer clips by WWE appears to be the broadest enforcement effort the company has made so far. Fightful reported that it has learned that a company called StreamEnforcement is allegedly using bots to issue the takedowns.

Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline.com confirmed that WWE has “totally clamped down this week” in going after content creators. Alvarez stated the following…

“It’s a lot of WWE reaction video creators. Went down sometime in the past three weeks. Big names all dinged and having to pull all their stuff. A lot of people shocked about it, including in WWE, because those vids did push the product hard to large audiences.”
