CM Punk reportedly wants to work with Samoa Joe when he returns to AEW

It has been rumored that CM Punk will feud with Chris Jericho when he returns to AEW television. It now appears that there’s another name in AEW/ROH that Punk could end up working with.

According to Fightful Select, sources close to Punk indicated that he has expressed interest in working with Samoa Joe. The outlet noted the following…

“Can’t confirm whether the pitch/suggestion was for a one-off match or an extended program. Also, we have not confirmation on whether or not the match is actually happening, as AEW sources won’t discuss anything related to Collision in general, much less the matches planned.”
