CM Punk publicly apologizes for his “suck a blood money covered d*ck in Saudi Arabia” post from 2020
CM Punk, who is challenging John Cena for the WWE title at Night of Champions, was publicly critical of The Miz in the past including when he wrote “go suck a blood money covered dick in Saudi Arabia you f*cking dork” on Twitter/X in early 2020. Punk would end up deleting his tweet.
During the Night of Champions Kickoff show, Punk’s name was booed by the fans in attendance and they chanted for John Cena. Punk spoke to the crowd and addressed the tweet…
“This guy wants me to apologize for a mean tweet I wrote six years ago. Hey listen, legitimately had nothing to do with Saudi Arabia. I woke up and I was crabby, and I wrote a mean tweet to The Miz, and I apologize to The Miz. And sir, what’s your name? Mohamed? Mohamed, I severely apologize to you and all of Saudi Arabia. Okay?”
Punk then went into the crowd and hugged the fan.
