As seen during the 2026 WWE SummerSlam Saturday PLE, WWE Champion CM Punk defeated Cody Rhodes after interference from Randy Orton. While speaking at the post-show press conference, Punk commented on potential future challengers…

“I mean, I’m the belle of the ball. I’ve got the target on my back and the gold around my waist. There’s a reason I call myself the best in the world. Everyone wants to be that.

I’m not stoked what Randy did. Randy’s a snake. If Randy wants some, he can come get some. His dad Bob can get some. If Randy’s mom wants some, I will slap her, too. I don’t care. I will come [at] every single archer who wants to shoot a bow and arrow at me. Bring it on. I’m not hiding on an island, I’m not hiding in a bubble, I’m not a p*ssy. Let’s go!”

Punk added, “I will go to RAW and wrestle. They need the ratings boost. Let’s go.”
