Claim made that WWE will be returning to Las Vegas, NV for WrestleMania 42

Earlier today, it was reported that WrestleMania 42 will not taking place in New Orleans despite WWE’s announcement and a new location was to be determined. While covering the story, NOLA.com noted the following…

“After the success of this year’s event, the new leadership running WWE decided that they would rather hold next year’s event in Las Vegas and see what response they get from fans, according to an industry official who wasn’t authorized to be quoted by name.”

According to PWInsider.com, the word making the rounds locally in Las Vegas this afternoon is that they are finalizing WrestleMania 42 taking place at Allegiant Stadium in 2026. While the deal is not done, it is believed to be “very close.” If WrestleMania 42 ends up in Las Vegas, the dates are expected to be April 18th and April 19th.
