City submits pitch to host WWE Wrestlemania 41 in 2025

As previously noted, the cities of Minneapolis, MN and Las Vegas, NV have been rumored as potential locations for WWE Wrestlemania 41 in 2025.

Minneapolis appears to be one step closer to hosting Wrestlemania. It was reported on Wednesday by StarTribune.com that the nonprofit Minnesota Sports and Events (MNSE), the lead organization working to bring major attractions to the Twin Cities, has submitted a pitch to have Wrestlemania take place at U.S. Bank Stadium. It’s believed that the winning city will be determined next month.

Wendy Blackshaw, MNSE’s president and chief executive officer, noted to the outlet that she attended Wrestlemania 39 and commented on Minneapolis potentially winning the bid…

“We are hopeful, and I hope we get it. It would be amazing. It was nothing like I had ever seen in my whole life. The ages were 5 to 95; little kids, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents. The pageantry, it’s unreal.”
