Brooke Hogan criticizes the Hulk Hogan death investigation: “There’s been a lot of inconsistencies from the beginning”

This past week, the Clearwater, Florida Police Department announced that it has completed its investigation into the death of Hulk Hogan (Terry Bollea) and determined that he died of an “attended natural death.” According to TMZ.com, Hogan’s daughter Brooke was surprised that police publicly thanked her for cooperating with the investigation because she felt excluded from the process.

Brooke stated the following to TMZ…

“There’s been a lot of inconsistencies from the BEGINNING. I think CWPD missed the mark by not IMMEDIATELY making this a big investigation and not questioning everything and everybody out the gate. This should have been treated as a taped off, locked down, thorough investigation from day one.”

Brooke also said the department’s acknowledgment felt like “a slap in the face.” Police declined to comment on her remarks.

Among the concerns Brooke raised were claims that she was initially told there were no blood samples available, only to later learn investigators found nothing suspicious in Hulk’s blood. She also questioned why certain prescription medications listed in police records did not appear in the toxicology findings.

Brooke previously contacted police shortly after Hulk’s death to ask whether an autopsy would be performed. While a private autopsy was reportedly conducted for the family, she says she was never allowed to view the results and that they were never made public. She also questioned why Hulk’s death certificate was signed by his personal physician rather than someone from the medical examiner’s office.

Her comments come after Clearwater police concluded a nearly yearlong investigation, stating that medical records, witness interviews, surveillance footage, and other evidence revealed no signs of foul play or criminal wrongdoing. However, Brooke says the findings still leave unanswered questions.
