Brent Borough Council: AEW All In’s turnstile count at Wembley Stadium was 72,265

AEW announced the total paid attendance for the 2023 AEW All In PPV event at Wembley Stadium as 81,035 which was said to be a new record for a wrestling event.

Brent Borough Council, which is the local authority for the London Borough of Brent in Greater London, England, was asked about the “official and accurate” attendance for All In. Here was the response…

“The actual numbers registered entering [Wembley] Stadium through the turnstiles was 72,265 – this is reflective of what attended on the night and not the total number of tickets sold or no-shows etc.”

Twitter account @WrestleTix’s final estimate of tickets distributed for All In was 83,131. Wrestlenomics.com was told by a source that “a typical AEW event has a drop count (also known as a ‘turnstile count’) that is about 80% to 90% of the paid attendance or tickets distributed” and it was noted that 72,265 is 89% of 83,131.

According to Arlington Police, the turnstile count for WWE’s Wrestlemania 32 in 2016 in Arlington, Texas was 80,709. It’s unclear how suite attendees were factored into either event.
