Booker T says Chelsea Green should “work through the pain” after suffering a broken orbital bone

As seen during the August 7th 2026 edition of WWE SmackDown, WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green teamed with Tiffany Stratton in a loss to WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions Fallon Henley and Lainey Reid. Chelsea later announced that she suffered a broken orbital bone.

While speaking on his podcast, WWE NXT announcer Booker T reacted to the news…

“Work through the pain, baby. You work too hard. You work too hard to get here and to have to, you know, give it up like that. It would not be poetic justice at all for, like I say, hard as she’s worked to get there, man. Put the face mask on, go out there and get the work done. Just part of the game.

But, uh, I’m a huge, huge fan of Chelsea Green. When she won the title and the way she won it, it was beautiful. It was put together perfectly. And the fans, man, the fans gave her her flowers big time. She truly deserved to be in that spot.”
