Big E makes reference to Luke Harper/Brodie Lee on WWE RAW

The September 20th 2021 edition of WWE RAW opened with a Big E promo along with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods. Big E talked about his WWE Title victory and made reference to the late Luke Harper/Brodie Lee when he said the following…

“I’m grateful for all of you below the heavens and one incredible friend above.”

The crowd then started a “Brodie” chant.

During his appearance on The Bump last week, Big E brought up how he thought about Lee during his WWE Title win…

“He was on my mind throughout. Of course, I love him dearly and I miss him. He was one of my best friends, such an incredible human being. I still stay connected with his wife and his kids. They actually FaceTimed me yesterday. He’s someone that means so much to everyone who knew and loved him.
