Bianca Belair reveals that she is battling carpal tunnel syndrome in both hands

As seen during WWE WrestleMania 41, Iyo Sky defeated Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair to retain the women’s world title. She has been out of action since the match due to a broken knuckle but did provide the role of guest referee at WWE Evolution. She underwent surgery on her finger in February of 2026.

After announcing the birth of her son earlier this month, Bianca posted an update on her health via an Instagram story…

“No one ever talks about this stuff… currently carpal tunnel in both hands… fingers completely numb, no feeling in surgery finger whatsoever, no grip strength, and now also Mom thumb…wtf lol”

Mayo Clinic noted the following about the condition…

“Carpal tunnel syndrome is one of the most common hand conditions. It is caused by pressure on the median nerve in the carpal tunnel. The carpal tunnel is a narrow passageway in the wrist. It is on the palm side of the hand.

When the median nerve becomes compressed in the carpal tunnel, symptoms can include numbness, tingling and weakness in the fingers and hand.

Wrist structure, health conditions and repeated hand motions may play a part in carpal tunnel syndrome.

Proper treatment often lessens the tingling and numbness and restores hand function.”
