Belief that Roman Reigns will be taking “a significant break” from WWE after Wrestlemania 39

Roman Reigns is set to defend the unified WWE Universal title against Cody Rhodes at Wrestlemania 39. During the March 20th 2023 edition of RAW, it was teased that Jey Uso and eventually the entire Bloodline will walk away from Reigns.

Twitter account @WrestleVotes noted the following to GiveMeSport.com regarding Reigns’ status with WWE after Wrestlemania…

“I can imagine there’s probably a significant break, at least a month even longer, until there’s a major show that requires Roman Reigns. You may not see him until SummerSlam though. He’ll be away for a little bit.” WWE wanted to make Roman Reigns a major deal, and they did. Now every time you put on a major show, you need your major star.”

@WrestleVotes also tweeted, “I’m told this is contingent on if / when Reigns eventually loses the titles. As of now, those plans are not certain.”

As of March 21st, Cody is a -550 betting odds favorite against Reigns on BetOnline.ag.
