Belief that Becky Lynch will be taking “a long period of time” away from WWE

As seen during the May 27th 2024 edition of RAW, Becky Lynch lost a steel cage match to women’s champion Liv Morgan. WWE contract reportedly expires on June 1st. It was reported that Becky is not expected to sign with AEW imminently despite her WWE contract expiring.

Becky’s husband Seth Rollins recently signed a new WWE contract but is currently recovering from knee surgery. During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com discussed what he heard about Becky’s future…

“Becky Lynch didn’t renew. Becky Lynch is taking an extended leave. From what I was told it’s not a short period of time, she was looking for a long period of time out. If he (Rollins) is not on the road, it makes sense for her not to be on the road. They can’t be hurting for money where they need it right now, maybe she’s looking at other things or maybe she’s not.
