Backstage update on Eddie Kingston and Sammy Guevara following incident

As previously noted, Eddie Kingston reportedly confronted Sammy Guevara on August 10th 2022 in Minneapolis (AEW’s Quake by the Lake Dynamite/Rampage event) and there was a verbal dispute that led to Kingston being suspended for two weeks.

This week, Kingston made his return from suspension and was seen backstage at the Dynamite event in Chicago. Mike Johnson provided the following update…

“PWInsider.com has been told by multiple sources that Kingston and Sammy Guevara sought each other out backstage at the taping and spoke, apologizing to the other for what went down several weeks ago. We are told that at the end of the discussion, the pair shook hands and agreed that the issues were in the past and everyone was moving on.”

Kingston is scheduled to face Tomohiro Ishii of NJPW at this Sunday’s All Out PPV.
