WWE Summerslam 2022 was the first premium live event to take place since Vince McMahon’s retirement from the company. In regards to Bayley’s new faction with Iyo Sky (Io Shirai) and Dakota Kai, Fightful Select confirmed that the faction was a product of Triple H’s regime. The site noted the following…

“We’ve heard that the stable was actually pitched quite a while ago — before Dakota’s release — and Vince McMahon rejected it. There were other versions pitched that included Raquel and Kay Lee Ray before they got called up and repackaged, respectively.”

In other McMahon news related to Summerslam, Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com wrote the following…

“What had previously been billed as Vince’s Office before his exit from the company is now listed as the CEO OFFICE backstage and there is a second office backstage featuring signage for ‘Paul Levesque.’ All the old signage that would have featured Vince McMahon’s name is nowhere to be found.”
