Backstage news regarding Tiffany Stratton’s successful Money in the Bank cash-in at WWE Smackdown
As seen during the January 3rd 2024 edition of WWE Smackdown, Tiffany Stratton successfully cashed in her Money in the Bank contract on Nia Jax to win the WWE women’s champion. On Twitter/X, Triple H wrote: “Fortune favors the bold, and tonight @tiffstrattonwwe was as bold as you can be.”
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following in regards to the creative decision…
“The Tiffany Stratton cash-in and title change was planned for weeks and was a closely guarded secret, we are told. It was not known among many the change was coming. We are told it was planned for the Smackdown expansion specifically to have a big moment for The USA Network, the series and Stratton.”
