Backstage news regarding the Motor City Machine Guns signing with WWE

Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, known for years in TNA Wrestling as the Motor City Machine Guns, recently finished up with the company. It was initially reported that Shelley and Sabin were expected to be joining AEW but Shelley and Sabin are now believed to be heading to WWE instead of AEW.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, it was confirmed that Shelley and Sabin have signed with WWE and the duo are expected to debut with the NXT brand imminently. PW Nexus (@hashtagPWN) also noted the following about the team…

“Logos, merch designs are still being worked out for Motor City Machine Guns in #WWE. They will not be using their TNA theme, and from the sound of it, Def Rebel has a theme set for them already.”
