Backstage news regarding the Hurt Business being split up

Regarding the split of the Hurt Business on this past Monday’s episode of WWE RAW, Fightful.com is reporting that it was Vince McMahon’s decision to split the group up. Both Bobby Lashley and MVP reportedly tried to talk McMahon out of the creative direction but McMahon “dug his heels in” even more. The site also noted that “based on several wrestlers that we spoke to, the decision, and McMahon’s insistence to continue down that road was a blow to morale.”

Regarding Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander, Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com discussed the concern about their futures and wrote that “Benjamin and Alexander are also likely to be the latest victims of WWE’s breaking people up just to do so and without doing so for a feud since Lashley is just blowing both off in one match and they’re most likely going to be dead.”

MVP indicated on social media that the Hurt Business will continue with just himself and Lashley for the time being and he re-tweeted the following comment from a fan…
