Backstage news regarding Royce Keys and OTM’s attack on Jey Uso being censored by Netflix

Earlier this week, Paul “Triple H” Levesque published uncensored footage of Royce Keys and OTM’s attack on Jey Uso from the August 31st 2026 edition of WWE RAW. According to WrestleVotes Radio, some members of WWE’s post-production department reportedly feel “handcuffed” by restrictions implemented by Netflix. WWE was apparently aware of the parameters Netflix would impose, although some within the company did not expect the restrictions to be as extensive as they have been.

The decision to upload the unedited version of the segment to social media was reportedly unanimous internally. According to the outlet, those involved felt the full footage was necessary to the storyline and needed to be seen as it was originally intended.

It’s believed that WWE wanted the unedited footage released and that everyone involved agreed that fans should see the original version of the angle.

Another source questioned whether the angle should have instead been saved for a week when RAW was airing live and in real time.
