Backstage news regarding R-Truth’s surprise appearance at the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank PLE
Last weekend, R-Truth announced that he was leaving WWE. As seen during the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank PLE, R-Truth made a surprise appearance when he attacked John Cena.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com noted the following regarding R-Truth’s return…
“R-Truth is indeed back and will be going under the Ron Killings name going forward, at least initially. He was in discussions with several about appearances and independent bookings several days ago, so the decision to bring him back happened over the last 72 hours.”
While speaking at the Money in the Bank post-show, Cody commented on the matter…
“The truth is, you guys wanted Truth. It’s always our job, everybody up here, everybody over here, Triple H, Nick Khan, it’s always our job to give you what you want, so thank you guys for letting us know.”
When asked about R-Truth’s return, Triple H said the following…
