Backstage news regarding plans for The Rock as a heel character heading into WWE Wrestlemania 40
As previously noted, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson wrote a post on Instagram about the Wrestlemania 40 Kickoff. In regards to slapping Cody Rhodes, Rock wrote “your hero f*cked around and he found out.” Rock has seemingly turned heel and aligned with WWE undisputed Universal champion Roman Reigns.
Twitter account @WrestleVotes noted the following about plans for Rock as a heel…

In a Wrestlemania trailer published by WWE, a tag match with Rock and Reigns against Cody and Seth Rollins was teased. Rock and Reigns are scheduled to appear together on the February 16th 2024 edition of Smackdown.
