Backstage news regarding Finn Balor ahead of his WWE world title match against Gunther

Gunther is scheduled to defend his world heavyweight title against Finn Balor at Saturday Night’s Main Event on Saturday, December 14th 2024. In regards to Balor’s status with WWE, Twitter/X account @WrestleVotes noted the following…

“As we approach the 10-year anniversary of Finn Balor in WWE, sources tell us he’s solidified himself as a true locker room leader over the past year or so. In addition, we are told to expect a sustained singles push for Finn as we head into 2025.”

Earlier this year, Balor confirmed that he signed another contract extension with WWE for five years. As mentioned on WrestleVotes Radio, there will be “new merchandise that will celebrate all of the various aspects that we’ve seen Finn Balor throughout his career in WWE and a bunch of social media promotion.”
