Backstage news regarding Brock Lesnar bleeding at the 2023 WWE Backlash PLE
As seen during the 2023 WWE Backlash PLE, Brock Lesnar was busted open after hitting an exposed turnbuckle during his match against Cody Rhodes. In regards to the blood, Fightful.com was told that it “was planned for the match” and “WWE sources at least claimed that things went the way they were supposed to.” Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com also noted the following…
“The blood with Brock Lesnar vs. Cody Rhodes was attempted and not an accident. Lesnar is allowed to do that although blading, which is far safer then smashing your forehead hard into steel to get blood, is not allowed in WWE.”
In the footage below, you can see that Lesnar was bleeding right after he hit the exposed turnbuckle…
