Backstage news regarding Bayley’s contractual status with WWE

Bayley is currently part of the Damage CTRL faction in WWE and there has been internet speculation about her possibly being kicked out of the group at some point. Bayley teased winning the 2024 women’s Royal Rumble match during the December 15th 2023 edition of Smackdown.

According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com, WWE has come to terms with Bayley for a new deal and it was confirmed with multiple sources. Bayley, who first signed with WWE in 2012, is believed to have a new multi-year deal.

Dave Meltzer of F4WOnline.com recently noted that WWE is looking at re-signing talent to longtime deals with “greatly increased compensation” because they don’t want free agents right now.
