Backstage AEW news regarding Ric Flair, Malakai Black, and Riho

* In regards to Ric Flair and AEW, Meltzer noted that “the word going around is that it seems to be a lock Ric Flair will be headed here when he is legally able.”

* According to Meltzer, Malakai Black’s debut along with Black defeating Cody Rhodes clean were said to be the ideas of AEW President Tony Khan. Meltzer added that Black “did come up with some of the scenarios” in between those points.

* Riho has reportedly been out of action because of a bad reaction to a Covid-19 vaccine. Riho is said to be feeling better and should be returning soon.
